Columbia Snake River Campaign Announces Reformation, New Website Launch, and DC Fly-In Event

August 6, 2024 - We are thrilled to announce the reformation of the Columbia/Snake River Campaign, a united coalition of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Tribal Nations dedicated to advancing the cause of salmon and steelhead recovery, dam removal, and river restoration on the lower Snake River. This diverse and powerful alliance is committed to safeguarding the ecological integrity of the Columbia and Snake rivers, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. By joining forces, we aim to amplify our collective voice and mobilize support for transformative action that benefits people, wildlife, and the planet.

New Campaign Website Launch on August 6th

As part of our renewed commitment to salmon, steelhead, and the Columbia and Snake rivers, we are excited to unveil a new logo and launch a revamped website. The new Columbia/Snake River Campaign site will replace the ‘Our Northwest Opportunity’ site, providing updated news, actionable items, event listings, FAQ guides, and other helpful resources for advocates. The redesigned website will better convey our mission and vision, promoting a healthier and stronger Columbia/Snake River Basin. The new website will officially launch on August 6th.
